HEDONIST LABS places particular importance on protecting the personal data of its customers and visitors. This policy describes the processing activities we carry out, their purposes, their legal bases, and the rights you have.
1. Data Controller
HEDONIST LABS, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a capital of €11,875, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under No. 884 875 295, with its principal place of business located at 10 rue de la Paix, 75002 PARIS.

2. Data Collected
Depending on how you use the site, we collect:
- Identification and contact information: last name, first name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, and phone number.
- Order details: products ordered, total amount, purchase history, and correspondence with customer service.
- Connection data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamp.
HEDONIST LABS does not collect or store any banking information. Payments are processed directly by our service providers, Shopify Payments and PayPal, who are the sole recipients of card information. HEDONIST LABS has access only to the transaction status and, if applicable, the last four digits of the card number.
The information required to process your order is marked as required when you enter it; if this information is not provided, the order cannot be processed.

4. Recipients
Your data is accessible to authorized HEDONIST LABS teams, as well as to service providers acting as subcontractors on our behalf:
- Shopify — website and online store hosting, payment processing (Shopify Payments);
- PayPal — payment processing;
- La Poste / Colissimo — order shipping;
- providers of email marketing, customer support, and web analytics services.
These service providers have access only to the data necessary to perform their duties and are contractually obligated to process that data in accordance with the GDPR.
HEDONIST LABS does not sell or rent your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data may also be disclosed to administrative or judicial authorities when required by law.
5. Transfers Outside the European Union
Some of our service providers are based outside the European Union or may transfer data there:
- Shopify: Canada, a country that has received an adequacy decision from the European Commission;
- Service providers based in the United States (including audience measurement and advertising tools): data transfers are governed by their certification under the EU–U. S. Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

6. Retention Periods
- Order and billing data: for the duration of the contractual relationship, followed by archiving for ten (10) years to comply with accounting requirements (Art. L. 123-22 of the Commercial Code).
- Customer account data: the duration of the account, followed by three (3) years from the last contact.
- Marketing data: three (3) years from the last contact or the withdrawal of consent.
- Cookies and trackers: Data collected via trackers that require consent is retained for a maximum of twenty-five (25) months; the consent itself is retained for six (6) months.
- Correspondence with customer service: the time required to process the request, followed by archiving for the duration of the applicable retention periods.
7. Your Rights
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended, you have the following rights:
- the right to access your data;
- the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- the right to have your data erased, in the cases provided for by the GDPR;
- right to restriction of processing;
- the right to object to the processing of personal data, particularly for marketing purposes;
- the right to data portability regarding the data you have provided to us;
- the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without such withdrawal affecting the lawfulness of any processing that took place prior to the withdrawal;
- the right to set guidelines regarding what happens to your data after your death.

We will respond withinone month of receiving your request; this period may be extended by two months if the request is complex or if there is a high volume of requests; in such cases, you will be notified.
You are not routinely asked to provide identification. We only request proof of identity if there is reasonable doubt regarding the applicant’s identity, in accordance with Article 12.6 of the GDPR.

8. Business Development
You will only receive marketing communications by email if you have expressly consented to them, or if you are already a customer and the communication is regarding products similar to those you have purchased.

Your data is not shared with partners for the purpose of marketing on their own behalf.
9. Cookies and Trackers

We will never ask you to provide your credit card information by email, phone, fax, or mail.
