Nausea and vomiting are the hardest symptoms of veisalgia to control (hangover), which are often distressing and unpleasant.
Ginger
The bioactive compounds in ginger, such as gingerols, give it anti-nausea properties. As a staple recommendation at the pharmacy counter, ginger remains a natural and effective alternative for preventing nausea.[1]
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 or pyridoxine is one of the essential vitamins; it is water-soluble and widely found in our diet. In certain cases, it is used therapeutically. In fact, studies have highlighted the effectiveness of vitamin B6 in treating nausea.
According to a study, 25 mg of vitamin B6 has a positive effect on reducing the frequency of vomiting and alleviates nausea after ingestion. [2]
To help relieve these symptoms, the combination of ginger and vitamin B6 is therefore a wise choice.
