Nausea and vomiting are the most uncontrollable symptoms of veisalgia (hangover), often challenging and unpleasant.
Ginger
The bioactive compounds present in ginger, such as gingerols, give it anti-nausea properties. A classic recommendation at the pharmacy counter, ginger remains a natural and effective alternative in the prevention of nausea. [1]
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6, or pyridoxine, is one of the essential water-soluble vitamins found widely in our diet. It has therapeutic uses in certain conditions. Indeed, studies have highlighted the anti-nausea properties of Vitamin B6.
According to a study, 25 mg of Vitamin B6 has a positive effect on reducing the frequency of vomiting and decreasing nausea after administration. [2]
To contribute to the relief of these symptoms, the combination of ginger and Vitamin B6 is, therefore, a wise choice.
